Project phase
Project description
Preparation & implementation
On the former site of City Terminal, the pursuit of the Port of Rotterdam is to create a so-called multi-user environment where multiple, as much as possible, additional logistics suppliers make joint use of a central road and an entrance. That creates a lot of synergy. The area will be developed into an efficient and compact multi-modal hub for coastal shipping, inland waterways, rail and road transport. The rearrangement is in part dictated by the departure of ECT at the City Terminal, a complex of areas along the Eemhaven/Beatrixhaven and Willem Alexander-Port.
